Important Notes​

  • Confirmation principle: When finding a person or group, a unique match is used directly; multiple candidates will be presented for you to choose. Sensitive operations like removing members or adding contacts always require confirmation.
  • Permissions: All operations run as your currently signed-in TypeX account. Group management operations require the corresponding permissions within the group.
  • Privacy: The AI can only read messages from groups you have authorized access to.
  • Message limits: Up to 200 messages per search. For large groups, narrow the scope with a time range.

FAQ​

Q: MCP is unavailable?

A: Open TypeX desktop → Settings → MCP → Enable. Make sure TypeX is running in the background.

Q: Can't find a group?

A: The group name might be misspelled. Try searching with a partial name, or verify the exact name in TypeX first.

Q: Message won't send?

A: Check whether the target group or contact still exists, or whether your account is still in the group. A retry usually resolves it.

Q: Can I send images?

A: Yes. Single images and nine-grid collages (1–10 images) are supported. Provide the absolute local file path.
